Two more people are now in custody related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.

These detentions come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and have since been released.

Police arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of several people injured by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
